Privacy Policy

The short version: we collect what we need to run your account and bill you. We don’t sell your information, and your company’s inventory data is visible only to people you give access to.

1. Who this covers

This policy explains how SYR Management Services LLC (“SYR,” “we,” “us”) handles information in Stock. Yield. Results. (the “Service”), including our website and app.

2. What we collect

Account information: your email address, a securely hashed password, your role, and the company names you create or join.
Customer Data: information you or your team enter, such as items, vendors, locations, stock counts, lots, purchase orders, sales history and notes.
Billing information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive plan, subscription status, and billing dates. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Activity records: which user made each inventory change and when, so your team has an audit trail.
Technical information: basic logs such as IP address, browser type and error details, kept by our hosting providers for security and troubleshooting.

3. How we use it

To provide the Service: sign-in, storing your inventory, forecasts and team access.
To process subscriptions and send receipts.
To send account emails such as confirmations, password resets, billing notices and important changes.
To keep the Service secure, fix problems and provide support when you contact us.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use your Customer Data for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers who process information on our behalf, only as needed to run the Service:

Supabase: sign-in and database hosting
Netlify: website and app hosting
Stripe: payments, invoices and tax calculation
Resend: account emails

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or SYR.

Business transfer: your account information may transfer with the Service in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, change of ownership of SYR, or a sale of the Service or of all or substantially all of SYR’s assets or equity. A change in who owns SYR does not, by itself, require your consent. We will email the address on the account at least 30 days before the transfer, unless a shorter period is required by the transaction or by law, in which case we will give as much notice as is reasonably possible. As a condition of the transfer, the new owner must assume these commitments and the then-current Privacy Policy. If you do not want to continue with the new owner, you can cancel and export or download your data instead.

5. Who can see your company’s data

Only members of your company account can see its data, at the level set by your owner or admins. Data is separated between companies by security rules in the database. We access Customer Data only when needed to maintain the Service, investigate a problem, or when you ask for help.

6. Cookies and browser storage

The app stores your sign-in session and small preferences (like whether “explain” buttons are shown) in your browser. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. How long we keep it

We keep account information and Customer Data while your account is open. After a subscription or trial ends, data remains available read-only, and we may delete it 90 days after the account is inactive and unpaid, after notifying the owner. Billing records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

8. Security

We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and database access rules that separate each company’s data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and remove teammates who no longer need access.

9. Your choices and rights

You can view, edit and export your data in the app. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights. We will honor those requests as required by law. Email support@syrresults.com.

10. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.

11. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will email account owners before they take effect.
